About the Art

 

Tom sees his art as a newly cut portal from which we can view the world.

 

Tom's work is the result of an effort to capture and share moments and places that he believes are taken for granted.

 

Rather than force feed his own interpretation of the scene, drawing technique and sizing of work invites the viewer to relate to these places from the context of their own experience.

 

In a sense, Tom's works are glimpses and gateways into the private worlds that exist within each of us. Through his images, he invites us to question what we see and what we want to see as ways to connect with our emotions.
